Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and pass a fingerprint background check, including Social Security verification, criminal history, and sex offender registry screening.

As a volunteer, you’ll:
- Build relationships with the child, their family, teachers, and caregivers
- Help determine the safest, most supportive placement
- Provide fact-based recommendations to the court
- Offer a consistent presence during uncertain times
